| I bought this smaller LCD TV for my bedroom. Toshiba is rated one of the best for picture quality and even though this is only 720P it has a great picture.I have had it for 5 weeks and it works as expected. |

Okay, here's the deal... I needed a new TV to replace the 14" tube TV in my kitchen. I also needed something short enough to fit in the very limited space above the fridge. And, I didn't want to pay a fortune for it ($200 max). When I ran across this Toshiba 19" HDTV on Amazon, I thought I had found THE one... well, I was right!!
This little dynamo has many features that are usually only found on much more expensive models. But more importantly, the picture is way beyond anything I ever expected at this price range... especially considering that with my setup, it's not actually receiving an HD signal!
You see, I don't have a cable connection in my kitchen. It's connected via a wireless RF-LINK box (which Amazon also sells, and I highly recommend) that is only capable of transmitting/receiving an SD signal. To be totally honest, there is very little difference between the picture I get on my 40" Sony 1080p (that's connected directly to my HD cable box via HDMI) and the SD picture I get on this one.
I've only had it for a couple of months, but so far I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase! In my opinion, if you are looking for an affordable 19" HDTV there's no reason to look further. |

| Sent the Toshiba 19AV600U 19-Inch 720p Portable LCD HDTV, Black , to my mother for Christmas. The stand was broken on the first TV she received, so she returned it to Amazon and received a new one within a week. (The lock in the stand, that holds the TV to the stand, was stuck shut and there was no way to unlock it.) The replacement TV she received was perfect. She loves it! She says the picture is very clear, colors vivid, and the sound quality is good. She really appreciates how easy it was for her to return the broken TV and how fast she received the replacement. |

| Looked at all the reviews of similar sets on Amazon, and found this to be both highly rated and lowest cost. Have it hooked to a DISH network 211k receiver for HD channels, and it works perfectly. Nice color tones and very good sound. Would have loved it on a swivel base, but not difficult to change the angle as is. |
