I love this TV!

This is my first LCD TV, and I absolutely love it! The picture is great, it has a wide viewing angle (meaning you can sit/stand off to the side and still see the picture clearly), and the menus are easy to navigate and pretty self-explanatory. Setup was not too bad - I managed to get it out of the box, assembled, and hooked up to the indoor antenna without help from anyone else, and hooking up my DVD player was easy too.
I highly recommend it! |

There were some contradictions in the instructions on hooking up to cable box AND in the booklet on how to match the Cable Remote control to the TV.
I could not get it right, even after a little help from my friends and had to turn to COX cable to guide me thru it.
NOW its a great picture, altho the sound seems to have an echo effect on some movies. |
Pleasantly surprised by HD channel capture

| I was pleasantly surprised by the Panasonic 37" picture quality and even happier that the available cable High Definition channels were found without the aid of a digital or HD cable box during the channel setup search. The ease of ordering and very rapid delivery have been additional incentives to this very positive buying experience. |
Panasonic is a great value buy.

| If you want your TV to last 10 plus years without fail...go with Panasonic. It is worth a few extra dollars up front. |
Soild LCD TV for the price

Good picture and adequate sound. Great for our office and second guest bedroom. There are three things to keep in mind. 1) If you move off center viewing axis much the picture drops off quite rapidly. 2) It is not a high quality sound system for which you can easily pay way more for then then cost of the TV. 3)Watching standard TV on a LCD HDTV will always be a grainy disappointment.
Now in our living room we have a 55" state of the art (for the moment) Samsung LED flat panel TV, with separate 5.1 surround sound system and HD signal from Verizon FIOS. Not even this high quality great HD viewing TV has great sound by its' self. The picture is not as grainy when watching standard TV, but still not great. The picture in HD is outstanding even way off axis and I paid four times as much for the TV and sound system as this Panasonic.
My wife, guests and myself are all very satisfied with this purchase. Are there better TVs...yes...and they cost a lot more. |

| Very nice TV. Just plug-n-play. I know I'm a guy, and hate using manuals and directions, but I barely needed to glance at the directions for this TV. Other than placing it in the base, it was ready to plug in and hook up to the DVD player right out of the box. Picture quality is bright and beautiful, and the on-screen settings interface is extremely intuitive. I love this TV! |

| This is a very good 37" LCD for the money with some nice features. Looks great hooked up to the PS3 w/ the HDMI and has decent sound. |
Great TV- call your cable company to fix volume!!

We're in love with our TV, however a lot of people seem to be having trouble with their volume. In fact, the audio is too loud for us; we watch TV at 10, 11 or 12 no more since it's too loud. Please see below for info on how to increase the volume on your TVs:
a) Call your cable company
b) Tell them that your volume is quite low and you need an adjustment.
c) They will try several codes and instruct you to press various buttons on your CABLE remote.
d) Continue inserting codes with the person on the phone with you, until you hear the volume going up.
e) On your CABLE BOX, manually adjust the volume to the highest it will go- ours go to 30. This will help a lot as well
I've read most of the reviews here and found some to be quite helpful on how to make the pictures excellent. In fact, we have tweaked the settings due to some great advice on here. Thanks for all the advice. We are happy customers. |
